RETOQUE DIGITAL DE FOTOGRAFÍA CON FINES PUBLICITARIOS

El retoque digital representa una verdadera alternativa útil para el terreno del marketing, la publicidad y la creatividad en general. Permitió al mundo de la publicidad ofrecer mejores imágenes, más nítidas, más limpias  y más vistosas. Logró que el mundo de la publicidad pudiera ofrecer mejores materiales visuales. A medida se fue desarrollando en el mundo digital, sus ventajas fueron a la alza y se lograron integrar, cada vez a un menor costo, a los diversos procesos creativos para la elaboración de pautas publicitarias. Hoy en día está al alcance de cualquiera hacer un sencillo retoque digital. 

Sin embargo, es una actividad creativa que se debe realizar con moderación, cuando se nota demasiado editada una imagen pierde toda credibilidad. Salvo que sea intencionado, como el anuncio de Colgate. 

LA POLÉMICA ESTÁ SERVIDA: El abuso del retoque digital es un tema serio que se ha manifestado en diversas ocasiones y se ha y tratado en diversos medios, el público actualmente prefiere lo real, lo cual aumenta la responsabilidad de los creativos visuales y diseñadores y hace crecer el reto de hacer buenas imágenes. Hoy en día no se pueden evitar los alcances del retoque fotográfico digital, sobre todo para el mundo de la publicidad, los siguientes ejemplos ayudan a entender la importancia de esta actividad con un antes y un después de la edición fotográfica.

1- Cambiar el color de los ojos. Siguiendo las instrucciones que se indican a continuación.

En este ejercicio vamos a comprobar lo fácil que resulta modificar el aspecto de una persona con un programa como Gimp o el archiconocido Photoshop.

Tendemos a creer que los modelos que vemos en las vallas publicitarias son tal cual los vemos allí, y sin embargo, esas fotos están, -al menos en un porcentaje altísimo, retocadas con alguno de estos programas, hasta el punto de distorsionar la realidad y nuestra percepción de la belleza. Aquí tenéis una muestra: 

Vamos también a cambiar el modo de fusión de capas para modificar el color de ojos.
